With the Northwave Himalaya you have warm feet even in the coldest external conditions thanks to the Thinsulate lining. The footbed of the MTB winter shoe offers excellent warmth and insulation properties, while strategically placed TPU reinforcements in the upper shoe provide increased protection.
With this shoe you can ride both platform and click pedals. To install cleats, simply unscrew a piece of the rubber sole. Speaking of soles, this comes from Michelin and offers excellent grip on all surfaces due to the 2 different composite materials, without losing stability and stiffness, so that you still get enough power on the pedals.
The MTB shoe has an SL2 closure system, which is complemented by a longer power strap with custom-design ankle and ankle entry closures for effective weather protection.

TECHNOLOGIES
THINSULATE - The unique microfibers of Thinsulate Insulation are nearly 10 times thinner than the polyester fibers normally used in insulation for winter clothing. Thinsulate Insulation fibers are ideal for insulating air and reflecting back the body’s radiant heat, allowing body moisture to escape and evaporate at the same time.
