Pure cycling: UVEX active cc stands for cycling at its finest. Mountain bike or trekking bike, on cycle paths, trails or forest tracks. Perfect for this all-rounder. All-round talent. Cyclists need a helmet which offers them the best protection in many situations – on wide cycle paths or forest tracks. UVEX active cc is perfect for all of them. 19 ventilation openings ensure the head stays cool, whether riding uphill or downhill. Double inmould construction creates a light, stable helmet, which weighs from just 280 grams. The thin polymer outer hardshell protects the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell, and the head, in the event of a fall. The 3D IAS fit system ensures UVEX active cc adjusts to fit the head perfectly, for both height and width. Detachable visor. High quality pads are removable and washable, and provide extra ventilation. Anyone who doesn’t just ride in the mountains, but also in the city, will find the optional plug-in LED increases visibility in traffic.

TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE INMOULD SHELL - Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell and fitted with a second Polycarbonate shell. This technology allows to create a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. Second Polycarbonate layer gives extra protection to the outer edge from damage. EPS is a material, which contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.

X-FIT PADS – Interior features significantly affect a helmet's comfort. All our pads absorb moisture. X-fit pads consist of a high quality, structured material which improves ventilation. Padding has a special antibacterial finish. Hook and loop fasteners allow easy removal for washing.

MONOMATIC - Multi-stage and anatomically shaped UVEX’s monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.

3D IAS – The sophisticated IAS 3D system provides optimal helmet size adjustment to different head sizes and shapes by simply turning the adjusting wheel. The space inside the helmet adapts to the height and circumference of the head.

Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.

Wearing an UVEX helmet ensures your safety. Every helmet undergoes rigorous tests in our testing centre, so that the quality and function is guaranteed. Standards: EN 1078
