Sporty in the city: new uvex city active, from the City Collection, is a perfect companion in the city. Sporty, light and well ventilated, it provides protection in the urban jungle. Active across the city. Anyone who wants to be well protected when cycling in the city, yet stay sporty looking, should take a closer look at uvex city active. The helmet, from the new uvex City Collection, has a classic yet sporty shape and subtle matt design, which goes equally well with a business outfit or casual street style. For a comfortable, secure fit on every shape of head, this light, double inmould helmet is height and width adjustable, via the IAS 3D fit system. 19 ventilation openings cool the head on hot days and a removable visor offers extra customization options. For more visibility at dawn or dusk, uvex has given the helmet a plug-in LED, reflective straps and logos. Weight from just 280 grams.

TECHNOLOGIES

DOUBLE INMOULD SHELL - Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell and fitted with a second Polycarbonate shell. This technology allows to create a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. Second Polycarbonate layer gives extra protection to the outer edge from damage. EPS is a material, which contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.

MONOMATIC - Multi-stage and anatomically shaped UVEX’s monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.

3D IAS – The sophisticated IAS 3D system provides optimal helmet size adjustment to different head sizes and shapes by simply turning the adjusting wheel. The space inside the helmet adapts to the height and circumference of the head.

Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.

Wearing an UVEX helmet ensures your safety. Every helmet undergoes rigorous tests in our testing centre, so that the quality and function is guaranteed. Standards: EN 1078
