The surge aero MIPS road bike helmet from uvex is suitable for grueling mountain stages and flat, fast tracks alike. With its large ventilation openings, it's excellent for keeping a cool head. If you want to be more aerodynamic, simply use the attachable cover to reduce wind resistance.With MIPS, you also benefit from the movable protective layer in case of a fall.

TECHNOLOGIES
FAS - The Fast-Adapting-System (FAS) strap can be infinitely adjusted to the head and allows for a firm, secure fit. This way, the helmet remains firmly on the head and protects it even in extreme situations such as falls.
IAS Adjustment System - With the uvex IAS system, helmets can be individually adjusted in width with millimetre precision and in no time at all. The headband stays comfortable and allows good ventilation of the head.
MIPS - MIPS stands for " Multi Directional Impact Protection System," and describes a movable protective layer. It protects the brain from an oblique impact. The principle of the natural low-friction layer of the brain is adapted in order to minimise the forces that occur.
Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.
Wearing an UVEX helmet ensures your safety. Every helmet undergoes rigorous tests in our testing centre, so that the quality and function is guaranteed. Standards: EN 1078
