Only one thing counts in time trials: maximum speed. To achieve the fastest times on flat triathlon courses and time trials, we have developed the new Newmen Streem Time Trial wheels. According to our aerodynamic measurements in the GST wind tunnel, the wide carbon wheels with a profile height of 80 millimetres are the fastest road set we have ever built. But the Streem TT.80 VONOA with internal aero valve and carbon spokes are not only at the leading edge in terms of aerodynamics, at 1620 grams they are also the lightest material in this class.

Uncompromisingly trimmed for the best aerodynamics: With the Time Trial TT.80 VONOA wheels, we are completing our Streem family with a lightning-fast aero set for time trial bikes and triathlon events. The shape of the 80 millimetre high carbon rim with hook is designed without compromise for low air resistance and the best possible sailing effect in crosswind situations. As our aerodynamic measurements in the GST wind tunnel show, the fastest setup for time trials and triathlons is achieved with 25 mm tyres and the internal Streem aero valve. For more comfort on poor roads, the Streem TT.80 can also be ridden with 28 mm wide tyres thanks to its 22 mm internal width - without any major loss of aerodynamics. The TT.80 aero wheels also feature the proven, minimalist Fade R hubs with their quiet freewheel and Aerowide carbon spokes. The VONOA carbon spokes not only weigh 40 per cent less than comparable steel spokes, but are also significantly stiffer. As a result, the front wheel only needs 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes create a stiff wheel at the rear.

For less air turbulence and a saving of 1.5 watts at 45 km/h, we also rely on the integrated aero valve on the Streem TT.80, which disappears completely into the carbon rim. This works with a tubeless setup as well as with a classic inner tube. The scope of delivery therefore includes the complete STREEM Aero Valve Kit as well as a 36 gram Tubolito TPU tube, which can also be mounted hidden in the rim. Like all Newmen Streem wheels, the two TT.80 versions had to endure dozens of hours on the test benches in our in-house test laboratory before they were ready for series production. In addition, all Streem VONOA wheels are manufactured by hand at the company headquarters in Wiggensbach. As a result, we offer a 3-year warranty and lifetime crash replacement (50% off RRP) on all Streem Aero wheels.

Each Streem wheel comes with a complete Streem Aero valve kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape and a Tubolito Tubo-Road tube.
