The new Performance 30 wheels are far more than just an inexpensive ticket to the world of mountain biking. As with all Newmen MTB wheel series, the affordable aluminum wheels also feature the modular wheel concept for the front and rear wheels. True to the motto: Light up front, durable in the back. While the more robust Strong rear wheel guarantees stability and dent resistance, the Base front wheel saves weight. The wide, hooked Performance 30 rims are made of 6061 aluminum, have sleeved joints and come with tubeless rim tape fitted. With a 30 mm wide rim and a flat profile, the Performance 30 is ideal for modern MTB tires from 2.3" to 2.6". The tubeless-compatible, impact-resistant profile with an angled rim flange guarantees optimized comfort and grip, regardless of the terrain. For reliability when clocking up the miles, we use our tried-and-tested, quiet FADE MTB hubs with Sapim 2.0 straight-pull spokes, while the number of spokes on the rear wheel of the Enduro set is increased from 28 to 32 for greater stability and lateral stiffness.
