VITTORIA IS A POINT OF REFERENCE IN THE WORLD OF CYCLING. Vittoria S.p.A. is an Italian bicycle tire manufacturer established in 1953. The company has more than 1000 employees around the world, produces 5 million road and mountain bike tires.
The Race Formulation employs Graphene + Silica compound, providing increased wet grip and suppleness, and combines a 60TPI Tubeless-Ready casing to optimize deformation. This combination has been shown to reduce rider fatigue while simultaneously increasing race-day reliability.The new casing, new compound, and new size addition of Mezcal shows a 3% improvement in rolling performance compared to previous versions. When applied to a real-world scenario, this means that a Mezcal XC Race rider will gain up to ~.75 km/h of average speed over the course of the race. These benefits are in addition to an 11% increase in grip (especially in wet), and improved puncture resistance.

TECHNOLOGIES
GRAPHENE + SILICA COMPOUND – Silica, added to Graphene, boosts the tyre performance and consistently provides longer mileage and grip, further empowering the riding experience. Furthermore, this new compound combination reduces tyre weight and increases the performance gains. Vittoria’s lab tests have proven the new combination of Graphene and Silica to provide following performance gains, compared to a normal compound: plus 9% in speed/rolling performance, plus 32% in grip, +21% in puncture resistance, longer mileage and tyre’s wear life.
