By shifting the gear range from the front to the rear and by delivering consistent 13-tooth intervals for all 2x chainring variants, SRAM has been able to improve shifting performance, providing you with the gear ratio you really want and need. The SRAM RED crankset has been developed in particular for electronic shifting and is a big step forward in crankset design.

TECHNOLOGIES

AXS - AXS is the new electronic integration platform by SRAM, which combines electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view battery status, change component behaviour, adjust controls, receive maintenance reminders and update firmware.

FLATTOP - In order to offer Deep Range technology, SRAM had to develop a narrower chain. The unique articulation of Flattop technology not only enabled this narrower chain, but also resulted in quieter operation, increased strength and durability.

DUB - The unit of crankshaft and bottom bracket is the heart of the DUB technology. Stiffness meets durability. SRAM has gone a step further and made everything even easier and better. It is the system approach through the integration of chainring, crank, shaft and bottom bracket that is decisive for better drivetrain performance.

DEEP RANGE - Not only does it offer more gear range, but the range is also better. It has "depth" : a smoother, more useful gear gradation. Intelligent shifting settings, made possible by AXS, bring the simplicity of a 1x drivetrain to a 2x drivetrain. This way you always have the right gear and the range does not get in your way.
