The aluminum pulleys with standard bearings are 34.4% more efficient than stock. The machined titanium pulleys have three times the life of machined aluminum. The Coated Bearings reduce friction beyond our standard bearings. The reduction is over 50%. The coated have races 75% harder than our hardened-steel races and that helps them last 60% longer than our standard bearings. Friction is decreased by over 50% compared to our standard bearings. As the upper and lower pulleys have different tasks, they have different shapes. You’ll find they are thus marked, and have directional arrows. These pulley should be installed with stock SRAM pulley spacers. Save those from your old pulleys before installing CeramicSpeed. The kits come with CeramicSpeed Oil in a 15ml dropper bottle and grease in 5ml syringe. The bearings come with oil in them already. The grease is for particularly harsh environments.
