If you are touring, you want to have a basket or a children’s seat in the back - then you need a carrier. Before choosing a carrier, it is important to make sure that it will fit your bicycle. Although the carriers are quite universal and usually suitable for 24-28” wheel sizes, if there are no mounting holes in the bicycle frame, then the carriers cannot be fitted on. If you plan to carry a lot or heavy items, then it is recommended to look for a sturdy carrier that can withstand a weight of up to 25 kg.
