Front crankset Shimano Essa FC-U2000-1 175mm 7/8-speed 40T
The main components of the front chainring are bicycle crank arms and gears. When choosing a new front chainring block, you should take into account how many chainrings your existing unit has (can be 1, 2, or 3), the number of teeth on each gear, and perhaps most importantly, how it connects to the cranks (e.g. One-Piece/BMX, square taper, Hollowtech or Octalink). In more expensive models, if the gears wear out or if you want to change the gear ratio, they can be replaced. In racing where every second counts, crank length can matter as well. It is usually 170, 172, or 175 millimeters. The longer the bicycle crank arm, the harder it is to pedal.

The main components of the crankset are crankarms and chainrings.
When choosing a new crankset, you should consider the number of teeth on your current (it could be 1, 2 or 3), the number of teeth on each sprocket and most importantly, how it connects to the crank (e.g. One-Piece/BMX, bevel, Hollowtech or Octalink). On more expensive models, the chainrings can be replaced if they are worn out or if you want to change the gearing. In racing, where every second counts, the length of the crankarm can also be important. Most often, this is 170, 172 or 175 millimeters. The longer the crankarm of the bike, the harder it is to pedal.
