Designed with ergonomics and the human hand in mind, the Shimano XTR BL-M9220 2-finger hydraulic brake lever offers a powerful pull with smooth lever feel and modulation for ultimate control in combination with the 4-piston BR-M9220 caliper. A new, closer pivot point follows the natural arc of the finger, while the 5-degree upturned lever and tuned grip width favor a natural position for confidently tackling technical trail sections. The upgrade kit includes two additional pairs of brake pads and 100 ml of mineral oil.

The revised SERVO WAVE optimises the power curve without friction, while the new low-viscosity mineral oil keeps braking power constant at all temperatures and on all terrains.

With ultimate stopping power, consistency and control, the 4-piston BR-M9220 hydraulic caliper is the most powerful caliper in the Shimano XTR M9200 family. New low-viscosity oil keeps the pad contact point of the M9220 brakes constant in all trail and weather conditions, and new brake pads eliminate rattling noises caused by vibrations. Increased braking power and consistency paired with silence ensure precise control on rough trails.
