Bicycle chains connect important parts of the drive system - the rear derailleur, front and rear chainring blocks. When choosing a new chain, it is enough to know how many chaninrings there are at the back or, in other words, how many gears your bicycle has. It is also worth paying attention to how the bicycle chain is joined. Normally, the chain is joined by a pin. With frequent removal/fitting of bicycle chains, it may be worth considering a quick coupler that allows you to fit the chain without any additional tools. As technology advances, chains become stronger, lighter, and provide smoother shifting. Perhaps the most widely known chain manufacturers are Shimano, CONNEX, and KMC, which are worth choosing if you ride often and for a long periods of time.
