With the new Forge e-bike crankset, Newmen wants to simplify servicing your e-MTB's drivetrain. Who hasn't experienced this? You want to lubricate the chain on your e-MTB and turn the crank backwards out of habit, but only the freewheel of the motor turns and not the chain. At the same time, you don't want to have to hang the heavy E-MTB on the kickstand. Newmen relies on the patented "Pin it" system for the new Forge e-bike crank. When the crank is turned back, a return pin engages in the chainring and locks the freewheel of the motor. This allows you to easily maintain and lubricate the chain. The return pin springs back automatically as soon as you take the pressure off the crank.
