Gravel bottom brackets are built with CeramicSpeed Coated bearings and equipped with UFO Long Life Grease for the ultimate in durability and protection in all environments. T47a is an assymmetrical version of T47 standard, which designed to provide the benefits of both oversized PF30 and EVO386 shells and the tight fit of threading. Compatible with an asymmetrical 77mm wide frame shells: the non-drive side bearing is within the frame, and the drive side bearing is external. This is the best choice if you spend your time riding your bike in a humid environment and you do not use coated bearings or if your cycling application is an off-road discipline. Be aware that the Long Life grease has a slightly higher friction coefficient than the standard All Round grease. This is a medium viscosity type of grease, designed to deliver the best performance under the worst riding conditions. The recommended fill rate is 70-100%, depending on the weather conditions and riding application.Maintenance of CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings - Coated Bearings are more resistant to lack of lubrication when it comes to wear and damage on the bearing.
