Enjoy your ride – This drive unit was designed for optimum usability while on and off the bike. The YAMAHA PWseries CE adds comfort to the ride, whether you are going. The unit delivers 50Nm of torque and allows the rider to experience all the advantages of an eBike. The PW-series CE was developed to tackle any aspect of riding, offering ideal support.
Lightweight – The PWseries CE lightweight, starting at 2.9 kg, adds to the units natural assist setting to provide an enjoyable ride. The rider should fell a light, swift handling while on the move and noticeable lightweight while pushing the bike around.
Quiet – Yamaha strived to bring a very quiet unit. With the PWseries CE, early morning rides instantly become a relaxing nature-immersive experience.
Walking asist – Handling an eBike should not be a burden when you are off it. The Walk Assist function in the PWseries CE comes in handy when pushing the bike, even up steep slopes or when the bike is carrying heavy loads.
Stylish – The compact design of the drive unit gives a sharp overall look to the bike.
Automatic Support Mode – The Automatic Support Mode for the PWseries CE offers a relaxed feel to the ride, coping swiftly with constant changes in riding conditions, handling all those stops and starts. Automatic Support Mode also provides strong and smooth support for every start.
Battery Capacity – Measured in Wh (watt-hours) or Ah (ampere-hours) and directly affects the maximum distance that can be traveled on a fully charged battery. A larger capacity means a greater range.
Range – The approximate distance in kilometers that you can travel on a fully charged battery. The range depends on the cyclist's weight, battery capacity, weather conditions, terrain (uphill/downhill), and the selected level of motor assistance. It is important to note that over several years, the battery's capacity will gradually decrease. This is a normal chemical aging process of lithium-ion batteries. Motor Power – The nominal power generated by the electric bike motor. This power complies with the legal power requirements for electric bicycles in most countries.
Battery Lifespan – The specified charging cycle is approximate and may vary depending on how the battery is used, stored, and maintained.
Maximum Speed – The motor can support a speed of up to 25 km/h. Once this limit is reached, the motor switches off and reactivates only when the speed decreases. The motor assists only when pedaling. The bike does not have a throttle. The assistance levels and other settings can be adjusted using the controller located on the handlebars.
